Although you may access a particular portion of this Site and thereby bypass this Agreement, your use of this Site still binds you to the terms.

Pricing Policy

Items offered for sale by Miriam on the Site offered on-line will generally be priced the same as items available to purchase in the Miriam Hampstead boutique, from time to time however, Miriam boutique and the Site may have different prices or promotional events at different times and vice versa. We will not offer a price difference adjustment because the price has been reduced during the sale or because you have found it at a lower price in our boutique, or conversely. The price paid at the time of your purchase via the boutique or via the Site or store is final.


Acceptance of Order and Payment

The inclusion of an item on the website is not an offer to sell and Miriam is not obliged to supply the items ordered via the website. The placement of an order by you constitutes your offer to undertake the purchase of items from Miriam via the website. Miriam will acknowledge receipt of the order as soon as is practicably possible but Miriam is not obliged to sell ordered items if they are not in stock nor are available at the prices specified. Should items be at a higher price or unavailable, we will endeavour to contact the ordering party via the email address and/or telephone number given when the order was placed. If no response is received to the email from Miriam nor contact has been achieved via telephone, Miriam shall continue to process all other available items within the order. No substitute will be made for items that are not available.

We accept payment from American Express, Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, Switch, Solo, Delta. Upon receiving your order we carry out a standard pre-authorisation check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction. Goods will not be dispatched until this pre-authorisation check has been completed. For Maestro/Switch & Mastercard payments you will be asked to enter your internet banking password used for Mastercard Securecode. Unfortunately without a password, we will not be able to authorise your card, and your order will be incomplete.


Delivery and Duties.

Miriam will endeavour to maintain that all orders placed be dispatched the next working day as far as practicable, however this is subject to credit clearance, address verification and item availability. Miriam will contact you if an item is out of stock or there is a delay with the your order or specific items within it.

Miriam will make the following charges for shipping:
United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland: £5.00
European Union: £8.00
Rest of World: £15.00

Miriam endeavours to proceed with an efficient delivery from dispatch. All goods are sent via Royal Mail.
In the event that items become lost in the post, Miriam will wait 15 working days before we offer a replacement of the item where this is available or offer a refund. Miriam will extended this period to 30 working days for orders outside the European Union and United Kingdom.

Miriam reserves the right to extend this period under conditions beyond its control such as postal strikes or severely adverse weather conditions.
We are not unable to specify a delivery time, nor can you request any special instructions.
If an item is sent to an address which you specified when ordering which turns out to be incorrect, we are not liable if this item does not reach you.
Miriam will not be responsible for any delays incurred whilst items are in transit with Royal Mail.
Any duty and taxes applicable to the destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer.


Returns and Exchange Policy

Unsuitable items may be refunded or exchanged within 14 days from the date of dispatch as displayed on the receipt from Miriam. Should you wish to return an item, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving an item and obtain a Return Authorization Reference number by emailing us at enquiries@miriamlondon.co.uk. Please include your original receipt in the returned parcel. You must write your Return Authorization Reference number on the receipt. Any returned items that are not accompanied by an official reference number will not be accepted.

Miriam will only exchange an item for the same item in a different size, subject to availability, if a different garment is wanted you must place this as a new order.

Jewellery purchased online through our website will need to be shipped back to us for return or exchange within 3 days of receiving the item. Miriam does not accept returns or exchanges on earrings. Should lingerie items be purchased online, they will be returned or exchanged within 14 days at the discretion of the management team but should have any hygiene barriers still in place. Please be aware that shoes must be returned in their original designer box and show no signs of wear. Shoes returned without their original boxes will not be accepted.

The item you return must be in new, unused, and unworn condition with all the original packaging and garment tags still attached. Miriam shall not accept any item with any indication that it was used and if this appears apparent the item will be returned to the purchaser.
If you wish to receive a refund we will re-credit the original purchaser's credit card for the sum paid less any taxes and duties and less the postal costs.

Miriam is not responsible for items that become damaged or lost in transit. The postal costs for returned items are the responsibility of the customer and Miriam will reimburse these only in the event that items should be damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied.


Fraud and Cancellation

Submitting an order through the website represents and warrants the payment details provided on the order are valid and correct, thus when the order is accepted and processed by Miriam, payment would be made in full.

Miriam may cancel any order if fraudulent activity is suspected and may refuse to process subsequent orders from customers with a previous fraudulent order history. If we are unable to contact you via the telephone number or email address you provided with your order within a practicably possible period of time, we reserve the right to cancel your order. (Should this occur, a full refund will be undertaken to the original payment method).
