Australian designers Sarah Jane Clarke (Sass) and Heidi Middleton (Bide) met in 1992. Sass and Bide the label was born in 1999 after an inspirational trip to London.

In 2002 Sass and Bide hit London Fashion week, and now their line is stocked in the US, Australia and London.
